There are a great many souvenir shops in St. Petersburg, selling a wide range of hand-crafted objects, decorative items, books and albums, stamps, watercolours and much more, all made by local artists. There are shops situated at the Mikhailovsky, Marble and Stroganov palaces, and at the Mikhailovsky (Engineers’) Castle, as well as in the top hotels.
